In some cases, beeswax may be applied to minor burns or other skin damage in order to help the skin heal. Beeswax can also can also serve as a natural treatment against eczema and psoriasis.

Bee Welfare: The organic standard prohibits Wing clipping of the queen as a method of preventing swarming.  Hygiene and hive management is also of critical importance to prevent disease and pests and Beeswax should only be obtained from cappings removed from organic honey comb rather than from the recycling of frames.

Organic Coconut Oil- Coconut oil is highly effective at treating dry skin. It does
this by hydrating the skin, keeping it soft and moisturised.  It also has antiseptic properties, which means it can help to
fight off micro-organisms on the surface
of the skin that may try to pass through the skin barrier.  Many lip balms on the market contain petroleum by-products which actually dry the skin rather than moisturise.  Coconut oil can prevent chapping and help moisturise lips.  It has an SPF of 5 which may help protect your lips from UV rays as well.
